Breakfast in the lush surroundings was a daily highlight, allowing my travel companions and I to indulge in a feast while basking in the serene ambiance. The beautifully kept gardens and inviting swimming pool offer numerous nooks to unwind, especially after a day of exploring the nearby vineyards. the attentive staff, especially Virginia, made our stay even more special with helpful recommendations, such as securing a spot at a local winery. Though the hotel operates on a cash basis, paying in USD was seamless and straightforward. Casona La Chiquita stands out as a lovely retreat that echoes the rustic charm I adore about Ireland and the warmth of a cozy guesthouse.
